Before your visit, make a list of your medications, allergies and questions about your foot condition. Check with your insurance company to confirm that Dr. Spurs is on your provider list and bring your insurance cards and photo ID to the appointment.
Arrive 15 minutes early to fill out our new patient forms. Let us know if you prefer to have these forms mailed to you in advance of your appointment.
If you have lab work, x-rays, MRI results from other doctors that pertain to your foot problem, please bring them with you. Bring any shoes or orthotics that you would like evaluated.
During your visit, Dr. Spurs will review your medical history and discuss your foot problems with you. She will perform a podiatric medical exam and take x-rays if needed. She may prescribe medication and/or refer you to another facility for further testing, depending on your issue.
